Employment Consultations
We are often asked to review and analyze documents such as employment contracts, severance agreements, releases and non-compete agreements for our clients. In an effort to make our services more available we generally charge a flat fee of $300 that covers the initial telephone conference, a review of documents and a follow up conference, either in person or by telephone, to discuss the meaning of the documents and their impact on the client.
If a particular case requires substantially more time and effort, we reserve the right to adjust our fee to cover these circumstances. If after the initial review, a client wishes us to provide additional representation, a separate fee arrangement will be negotiated for those services.
The fee is due when we agree to perform the consultation services.
We hope that this policy will make it more attractive for clients to get the basic information that they need before signing employment related documents.
