Tom Barron, Class of ’72, has been elected as the President of the Cornell Club of Greater Philadelphia for the 2010-2011 terms. The club recently celebrated its 100th anniversary and has 150 members.
The club serves the Cornell community in the Delaware Valley by providing social and educational events that strengthen alumni ties with the university. In addition the Club supports the area’s local Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador committees, which provide informational meetings and assistance to students applying to Cornell and administers the George Rumsey Scholarship, which provides financial aid to local Cornell undergraduates.
